V Is For …
Vanessa Vinci Clothing

Note to self: When someone asks, “Is that getup homemade?” it’s not a compliment. Not even at this costumey time of year.
But if you’re designer Vanessa Vinci, you have something to smile about. Namely, your new clothing collection.
The AIU grad works in silk and stretch knit that’s packable, washable, and drop-dead hot. Vinci sources authentic Pucci, Escada, and Dior fabrics from garment houses in Miami and New York. Her line runs the gamut from Sienna-inspired flapper (a navy tiered and shirred dress) to off-the-shoulder silk frocks and metallic numbers a la Studio 54 (long sleeve, empire waist, extended cuffs).
Meet Vinci this weekend when she hosts a trunk show with pal Sabrina Davis at Range. You can preview the corset and leather belts Vinci made to wear with dresses just so.
A look that beats the heck out of Wednesday night’s Little Bread Riding Hood.
Available at Range Clothing Boutique, 3231 Cains Hill Place, Buckhead (404-816-8230). Trunk show, Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
