Just Bead It

Brina Beads Jewelry-Making Volunteers Program

help them make this!

Step away from the bourbon balls. Ditto for anything hash or nog related. This December, there’s something more satisfying (and noncaloric) to chew over.

Namely, the new jewelry-making volunteer program at Brina Beads.

Owner Sabrina Davis provides volunteers with design training and enough donated supplies to accessorize six or more deserving women and girls per session.

Gather a handful of friends, learn Davis’s craft, then take a few hours to share your new stoning, stranding, and metalwork skills with the nonprofit of your choice or one of the store’s favorite causes. Davis currently partners with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Shepherd Center but doesn’t have the extra staff to help them all without extra volunteers.

So in this case, more is more.
