Grey Parrot Gallery

Extra! Extra!
Read all about it!
No, really.
Get a look at Grey Parrot, a new rare book shop and gallery in Buckhead, and you’ll be tempted to curl up and never leave.
Wunderkind curator Kenneth Hosley (yep, he’s only 27) has been collecting for a decade. He and owner Alex Branch believe that rare finds were meant to be enjoyed and touched rather than collected (and collecting dust) on frumpy old shelves.
Capote-signed prints of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Lewis Carroll classics illustrated by Salvador DalĂ, and 19th-century Harper’s renderings of Piedmont Park are all par for the course.
Take a seat in the fireplace nook and Hosley will assist in your browsing the rarer stuff — like 16th-century Bibles, Gorbachev’s personal memoirs, and antique maps nearly too fragile to see the light of day.
And that’s the scoop.
