The New Girl in Town

Whitley Clothing

John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidts come a dime a dozen these days.

So when For Love and Liberty designer Christy Whitley decided to launch a retro- and ethnic-inspired silk de crepe top and dress line for spring, we’re glad she opted to use her own last name.

Make styling acquaintances with quirky, detailed pieces like Andrea, a strappy pleated dress with crystals on the collar, and Tiffany, a yoke-topped halter dress with navy and green screen print circling the waist (one of Whitley’s faves).

Swing-cut cuties Brenda and Susie are playful enough to skip the accessories song and dance routine.

Now that’s something to shout about.

Available at Range Clothing Boutique, 3231 Cains Hill Place, Buckhead (404-816-8230); Kaleidoscope Boutique, 252 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur Square (404-378-1214).
