Cake That, Cake That
Joshua John’s Sculptural Cakes

He went to a good school. Caters to your whims. And takes his sweet, sweet time when things start cookin’.
Want more? You will once you get a taste of Joshua John’s work.
The Johnson & Wales grad and former Grove Park Inn baking intern custom bakes fantasy-themed, sky-high cakes after-hours at Candler Park’s Radial cafe.
Start with a casual coffee date to talk through ideas. Don’t be shy, now. John’s a pro — he hand-casts his own sugar art molds, so things like Mardi Gras masks, carved chalices, and replicas of your favorite seashell are a piece of cake.
John’s crazy about his confections tasting like dessert rather than bland, gum pasty science projects. So once you nibble his vanilla cream, real peanut butter, and marshmallow blend fillings, you may give up the notion of nonsweets ever again.
No joshin’.
