Blame It on Rio
Francesca Romana Diana Rings

So your parents went to Rio and all you got were some lousy flip-flops.
No worries. Jewelry designer Francesca Romana Diana takes the legwork (and jet lag) out of the just-back-from-the-Riviera accessory game.
Italian-born Diana skipped to Brazil in the late ’80s in search of inspiration. And that’s exactly what she got.
Native stones like citrine, amethyst, and quartz accent her pop-colored Joy enamel rings and add pizazz to her Canapa Chic raffia bangles. Confection-hued enamel styles like Ipanema (with wave squiggles) and Copacabana (structured square block patterns) in turquoise, yellow, black, and ivory beg to be stacked, styled, and strutted through customs.
And if that’s not inspiration enough to follow suit, nothing is.
Available at Sandpiper, 227 Sandy Springs Place, at City Walk (404-255-7878); 4300 Paces Ferry Road, at Vinings Jubilee (770-433-2989).
