Halo’s Death in the Afternoon Cocktail Recipe

Falling somewhere between a doobie snack and an eight-ball on the coolness/criminality spectrum, absinthe never made the cut for your n’er-do-well crew.

But now that it’s back in legal form, who can resist the illicitly named cocktail at Halo Lounge? Consider this a freebie.

Death in the Afternoon

Ingredients
½ oz. Lucid Absinthe Supérieure
4 oz. your favorite champagne

1. Pour champagne into a flute, leaving room at the top.

2. Drizzle absinthe on top of champagne.

3. Drink (preferably in the afternoon). Accompanying delights (and daydreams) optional.
