A Twister of a Show
Art House’s Participatory Exhibits

Sudoku for the Scarecrow, relationship counseling for Tin Man, and a Tony Robbins podcast for the Cowardly Lion. Dorothy’s work was all done.
The Wizard couldn’t grant her final request, though: gallery space for her abstract Kansas photos. No room in Emerald City for emerging artists.
So she clicked her heels over to Art House, where gallery and studio owners Steven Peterman and Shane Zucker are creating a community so artists of all backgrounds can participate in exhibits and shows. Upcoming projects include a print exchange, a pen pal painting program, and a collector’s show wherein visitors fill an accordion file with personal items or found objects.
This summer will bring a print-making studio complete with enlarger and etching press for all to enjoy, co-op style.
After all, there is no place like home.
Art House Co-Op, 227 Mitchell Street, Downtown (404-556-8178 or arthousecoop.com).
