Pot Luck

Harebrained schemes are your forte. Getting a Popsicle delivery service off the ground? Brilliant. But ill-fated.

Best leave inspired collabos to SCAD grads. Like the duo behind Greenware Design.

Partners Irene McCollam (the potter) and Leslie Geer (the planter) create no-fuss succulent pots that thrive on minimal TLC (regular spray misting — that’s all!).

Color mixes — dusty blue buds, golden orange wisps, and rose-tipped green stalks — are as random as they are vibrant. Geer trims pieces from her studio gardens and patches them over moss. (Root plants, it turns out, take longer to take hold and don’t mail easily.) McCollam settles the pint-size plots in handcrafted pedestal, tiered, or footed clay pots before sending them off to you.

As for your part, just keep them someplace sunny and warm and avoid overwatering.

Unless you want another venture gone to pot.
