Reading Rainbow

Middleton’s Tudor Books

You’ve got nothing against spunky bookshelves that go from Zora Neale Hurston to The Pokey Little Puppy.

Nothing at all. Unless you have actual grown-ups coming over.

In which case it’s time to line the shelves with Middleton’s Tudor books, now available in Buckhead.

Pick the look that defines your literary aesthetic: brown books with patina finishes and goldenrod typeface, purple vellum hardcovers etched with color print, or bright white books of all shapes and sizes covered in inky, romantic scrawl.

Group them as bookends or spread them out to help coverless paperbacks stand up to dinner party scrutiny. There’s no rhyme or reason to what’s inside: Judging the books by the covers is the whole point.

Book case closed.

Available at B.D. Jeffries, 3736 Roswell Road, suite b, Buckhead (404-231-3004).
