Craft Atlanta and Craftbar Open

Ticket in. And this one’s a double order.

Tom Colicchio is bringing Craft Atlanta and Craftbar to town.

Downstairs at Craftbar, grilled quail and oysters, bruschetta, and braised meats fit right in with the woodsy decor and open oven, log-stacked entryway, and original paintings by Atlantan Stephanie Jordan.

Upstairs, the scene gets swankier: A gleaming black brick mock chimney is lined with candles, and neato paneled wooden shutters slide sideways to reveal a view of Peachtree Road.

Picky eaters at that four-top? No problem: Colicchio’s a la carte concept includes signature meal makers (gnocchi, Guinea hen, sweetbreads) and thoughtful sides (mushroom assortments, risotto, and picks from the raw bar).

Craftbar is slated for lunch in January. Both open for dinner tonight.
