When it comes to creative money-making ventures, you’d swear that some people were born with a bejeweled horseshoe up their ass.
Still, we’ve got nothing but nice things to say about creations by Dolci Odille (loosely translated as “sweet, fortunate girl” in Italian-Germanish).
Showstopping mischief-maker Ashley Meaders works with fabric, paper, and whatever else she can get her hands on to make party and paper treats that don’t disappoint.
In addition to Smilebooths (insta-cam, pack-and-ship backdrops draped with shredded, braided textiles that she creates exclusively for local photo masters Our Labor of Love), her works include hand-painted cake toppers strung with miniature bells and paper curls, and folded notes and custom stationery. Fabric flower garlands are constructed for the occasion with careful regard to setting (paper boats for a waterfront ceremony!) and theme (The Royal Tenenbaums!).
No matter the request, this girl’s not one to fold under pressure.
