The third time’s the charm. Unless you’re Coppola. Or Octomom. Or the team behind Beretta and Starbelly.
Having already struck gold twice, the latter open act three this Saturday in the Marina: new all-day Italian eatery and beer mecca Delarosa.
Beretta chef Ruggero Gadaldi will be slinging Roman-style pizzas, of course, but they’ll be slightly thinner than their Mission counterparts. Antipasti (like beet carpaccio with goat ricotta and truffle), spiedini, and house-made pastas round out the menu.
Certified cicerone (beer sommelier) Rich Higgins picked 30 brews specifically to complement the menu (that’s fourteen on tap, sixteen in bottles). Signature cocktails like the Swedish Punch — made with rum, brandy, Batavia Arrack, pineapple, lemon, prosecco, and black tea — tempt, too.
Much like its siblings, the restaurant’s high on style, with a mod-industrial interior accented by tangerine and gray tones.
We’re all four it.
