Atlanta Printmakers Studio Open House
What: Warm toddies, a printmaking demonstration, and limited prints by locals like Ruth Laxson and Hannah Skoonberg.
Why: The writing’s on the wall.
When: Sat., 3-7 p.m.

Alternative Art Auction
What: Tattoo, makeup, and graffiti artists sell their works (and host snacks and cocktails) to benefit the Phoenix School.
Why: Take a tenner (or five bucks and as many nonperishable food items) to help the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
When: Sat., 6:30 p.m.
Where: Bass Lofts, 1080 Euclid Ave., Little Five Points.

Cool Beanz
What: Food and bevvies at the furniture shop selling innovative loungers and memorabilia and art.
Why: Sit and spend.
When: Opening party, Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sun., noon-5:30 p.m.

GIVE
The Toy Party
What: Take an unwrapped gift (and party down) for Georgia kids in need.
Why: No time like the presents.

The Ice Rink at St. Regis
What: Book a skate session at the posh hotel patio.
Why: It’s a to-do to-do.
When: Thru Dec. 31. Daily, noon-8 p.m.

WORK
Ignition Alley
What: The membership-based office space features comfy digs, meeting areas, and plenty of indie biz mojo.
Why: This warrants a conference call.
When: All day, every day.
