A few weeks in, and Greendog, Jennifer Nichols’s new earth-friendly pooch boarding center, already has local dog lovers drooling.
The former Bacchanalia cook (gourmet dog treats are in the works) revamped a gaping warehouse with ecofriendly paints, Craftsman-style woodwork, and three interconnected indoor-outdoor runs (designed for small, medium, and large breeds).
A gray water plumbing system, prestay personality profile, and gentle grooming products are just the beginning. If Flopsie doesn’t play so well with others, a solo sleeping den and evening night-light and jazz will keep her comfy until you return.
No doubt, they’ll be wagging their tails behind them.
