What: It’s time to pick the 30 varieties of organic vegetables and herbs, including heirlooms, planted in the quarter-acre farm behind the historic neighborhood eatery.
Why: Exec chef Boyd Rose creates an ever-changing menu based on the harvest; a recent spread featured yellow crookneck squash chips with smoked paprika aioli.

Beauty Tool Boot Camp
What: Enyiaanise Beauty Bar throws a hair appliance giveback party benefiting women from the Genesis Shelter.
Why: Donate a blow-dryer or curling or straightening iron and get 10 percent off anything in the salon.

Why: The blackberry Pop-Tarts. Peach, blueberry, and fig are coming soon.
