“Civil Rights Photography, 1956-1968”

January 18-June 1

High Museum of Art

Atlanta, GA 30303
Phone: 404-733-4444

The High holds one of the more significant collections of photographs of the civil rights movement; a small selection of images will be on display and rotate every six months. Works capturing the spirit of social protest (the arrest of Rosa Parks, the Freedom Rides, the march on Washington, D.C.) are way better than your AP history class. Museum admission is $19.50.
