The location: Treehouse Point, Issaquah, Washington
At a glance: Dust off your pixie wings; the name is literal. The ecoproperty, 22 miles east of Seattle, is composed of actual tree houses. More Howard Roark than childhood playhouse, they have stunning details, like a winding staircase and suspended bridge.
The perks: The combination of sustainable tree houses, colossal firs, and bubbling river create a magical forest setting. Local, organic Pacific Northwest cuisine prepared on-site rounds out the stylish hippie vibe.
To sleep: Along with two straight-up tree houses (more on the way), there’s a rustic lodge that can accommodate up to eighteen guests for an intimate affair. Just hope they are down to rough it a smidge — there’s actual dirt on the ground.
