We’re always looking for a reason to hang out with hunks. Especially if it requires flexing, moaning, and pushing.
So it only made sense to find a muscley beefcake to teach us how to change a busted tire for our next Easy Does It how-to video.
Don’t be intimidated by the task at hand: Fixing a flat is actually really easy — and totally beats waiting for AAA or flagging down a sketchy truck driver. Plus, we figure self-sufficiency (especially if you’re in BFE) is always a good policy.
Now it’s time for a little pump and grind.

Changing a tire is not difficult once you become comfortable with the process. You must do a practice run at home before even thinking of changing a tire on the road. It is better to know before getting caught with a flat if the best tool for you to use is a jack or a telephone.

Lulu's right and you should put the wedge under the opposite tire. (If your kit doesn't come with a wedge, you can stick a rock or water bottle to stop the car from sliding.)

You forgot to enable the emergency brake before you jacked up the car! We learned that lesson the hard way when the car rolled back and the jack fell over, dropping the car onto the rim and nearly crushing my hunk. Yikes!

Enjoyed Mark, but pretty unlikely to have a real jack like that on the side of the road.
