Your bathtub’s in the kitchen. It takes 45 minutes to get to work. And when you first moved here, you put in 60 hours a week — at an unpaid internship.

Still, you can’t get enough of this place. And neither can we.

So to show our appreciation, we asked some of our favorite New Yorkers — Isaac Mizrahi, Danny Meyer, Daniel Boulud, Christian Siriano, Rebecca Minkoff, and tons of other people we’ve written about or just plain love — to tell us why they dig The City.

The result: our own little video homage to the place we call home. It’s no Jay-Z song, but we hope you like it.
