daniela corte boutique!

Order in the Corte.

SHOP
Daniela Corte Boutique Opens
What:
The made-to-measure maven debuts her first retail outlet, an elegantly appointed showcase for sexy-secretary dresses, separates, and accessories, plus pieces from international designers.
Why: More-affordable items start at $125 (although that $4,000 hand-woven leather jacket is hard to resist).
When: Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sun., noon-5 p.m.
Where: 211 Newbury St., garden level, Back Bay (617-262-2100).

HANG
It’s a Hipster Thanksgiving
What:
Before facing the barrage of in-your-face in-laws, kick back with duck liver mousse, pumpkin ravioli, and honeyed ham sliders from Trina’s Starlite Lounge, all paired with wine.
Why: The hot chocolate pie with mini marshmallows trumps your Aunt Beatrice’s staid pumpkin version.
When: Sun., 7-9 p.m.
Where: The Urban Grape, 7 Boylston St., Chestnut Hill (617-232-4831). Tickets ($15) online at eventbrite.com.

DRINK
Beaujolais Nouveau
What:
Toast the annual November harvest of the Gamay grape with copious amounts of the young vintage, then take your uninhibited self over to the art stations and photo booth.
Why: Soak up the excess with street food from Roxy’s Grilled Cheese and KO Catering and Pies.
When: Tonight, 7-10 p.m.
Where: Artists for Humanity, 100 W. 2nd St., South Boston (617-268-7620). Tickets ($25) online at secondglass.com.

SHIMMY
Jamaica Plain vs. Somerville Dance Off
What:
Boogie for zip code bragging rights (you pledge your allegiances at the door) during short-burst, deejayed throw downs judged for spirit, style, and creativity.
Why: Proceeds go to Girls Rock Camp Alliance.
When: Sun., 8 p.m.
Where: Good Life, 28 Kingston St., Downtown (617-451-2622). Tickets ($12-$15) at the door.

TRY
Sushi Menu at
Legal Harborside Roof Deck
What:
Our favorite waterfront respite rolls on — the expansive new maki offerings include classics (spicy shrimp, eel) as well as more adventurous entries (tempura lobster roll served astride the shell).
Why: Gluttons can dock beside the 124-piece sushi boat ($165).
When: Mon.-Wed., 4 p.m.-midnight; Thurs. & Fri., 4 p.m.-1 a.m.; Sat., 2 p.m.-1 a.m.; Sun., noon-midnight.
Where: 270 Northern Ave., 3rd flr., Liberty Wharf (617-477-2900).
