Why: Savor a frozen pomegranate margarita or one of 60 tequilas on the 130-seat harborside patio.

Social Wines Opens
What: The expansive shop from Chris Schutte and John Libonati brings upscale imbibing to Southie in the form of small-vineyard wines, craft beers, and locally produced spirits from Bully Boy, Berkshire Mountain Distillers, and GrandTen Distilling.
Why: Fancy tallboys from the likes of Brooklyn Brewery will have you rethinking your shotgun moratorium.

What: The annual affair expands to allow all students their fifteen minutes for showing off formal gowns, sportswear, and heretical nontextile designs (hello, birch-bark dress).
Why: Your first chance to see Space 57, the new event room inside the so-sleek Revere Hotel. (Fun fact: MassArt students designed the Revere uniforms.)
