April Bloomfield Dinner
What: The author of A Girl and Her Pig joins chefs Paul Virant and Elissa Narrow (Perennial Virant), Paul Kahan (Blackbird), Bruce Sherman (North Pond Cafe), and Nathan Sears (Vie) for a five-course dinner ($200) in honor of the cookbook’s release.
Why: Each chef prepares one course inspired by a dish from the read.

Exit, Pursued by a Bear
What: Revenge is sweetly hilarious in the Chicago premiere play about a woman who gets back at her abusive husband by tying him to a chair, surrounding him with meat, and inviting the neighborhood bear over.
