The Clear Choice in Cribs

Ubabub launches

ubabub!

You could stare at your babychild all day and night. If only you could see her through the slats of her crib.

Australia-based Ubabub has cleared up the problem. Launching stateside this week is its design-forward collection of cribs that artfully combine wood and acrylic.

The Pod crib gets its futuristic vibe from molded plywood (sourced from renewable plantations) and laser-cut acrylic panels (with starburst cutouts to increase air flow). Included with each Pod is an oblong hypoallergenic and antibacterial mattress that fits snugly in the crib.

Taking on a more midcentury feel is the Nifty Clear crib. Walnut-stained sides and tapered legs envelop acrylic panels with the same laser-cut designs. A coordinating changing table — with two shelves — is open on the short side, so parents can change diapers from the front or side of the table.

Since the cribs are so nice to look at, there’s no need for ornate bedding or bumpers.

You won’t miss them. In fact, you won’t miss a thing.

Available at ubabub.us, $600-$1,990.
