Time heals all wounds? Whoever said that clearly never screwed up and forgot Valentine’s Day. Or suffered the seemingly eternal freeze-out that usually results. Because, what’s that other saying? Oh yeah: Hell hath no fury like an overpriced bouquet scorned.
Better do some romantic damage control, pronto.
The boys behind Radius restaurant have got your back. Christopher Myers and Michael Schlow, co-owners of the swanky, much-lauded joint, are teaching a class tomorrow on how to cook a romantic meal any night of the year. The menu’s full of aphrodisiacs like oysters with fennel cream and caviar, and chilled lobster salad with avocado and citrus — all but guaranteed to get you out of the proverbial doghouse and into the literal kitchen.
And, ultimately, to inspire a saying you actually want to hear. The way to your beloved’s heart is through the stomach, for instance.
Or the best one of all.
Apology accepted.
