Your Best Shot

You.

So ahead of your time. Nose ring? You had one back in the sixth grade. Wedge espadrilles? You carved ’em.

So while all your “contemporaries” amble around with yoga mats strapped to their backs, you’re toting a bow and a quiver of arrows.

Yes, we mean archery. Hunter-gatherer sports are very now (as you probably already know). So past, but so present. (Plus you get to wear moccasins.)

And ArcheryUSA is all over this Next Big Thing. True, the ranges in Sudbury and Dedham are a long way from Wounded Knee, but they’re spot-on in spirit. There are lessons on drawing a bow, sharpening aim, and tying bastard string (yes, really), along with tournaments and video coaching (i.e., they shoot you shooting). ArcheryUSA even has a pro shop where you can score your own recurve bow or color coordinate your shafts and feathers. Heck, this may become your new wigwam.

Just another one of your ahead-of-the-curve pursuits. Right on target, as always.
