If your answer to the latter wasn’t already a resounding “yes,” wait till you see Gail Schneider’s saucy tops. The Israeli-born designer has just settled in Newton, bringing with her a load of handmade, one-of-a-kind tanks that she’s selling to local shops.
Crisscrossed with lace trim, buttons, and chunky buckles, they range from simply pretty to slightly punk. For a contemporary-meets-vintage take, try Anat, a pink cami with blue lace and a single printed white flower. For a bit more color, check out Rina, with side cutouts filled with bright florals.
Or, better still, grab two or three (or four).
