The name Pedro has been known to stir up an emotion or two around town. Not to mention a few associations: the ability to astound people. An explosive, diva-like manner. And, alas, a tragic penchant for folding under pressure.

Well, minus that last bit, Pedro’s back. Pedro Garcia shoes, that is. The decadent Spanish collection makes its Boston premiere exclusively at Stel’s. And stand back: It’s got some heat.

The lavish line of heels, boots, and flats is brimming with delicate textures and clever details: pearl-hued ballerinas in satin with ruffles, sterling gray suede boots crowned with a curvy flap, copper satin pumps, and knee-high boots in sumptuous suede.

And, unlike Martinez, they stand and deliver when you need them most.

Looks like it’s shaping up to be a winning season.
