Stil #2 Opens

You know what they say about space, right? It’s the final frontier.

And that’s as true about your own closet as it is the snazziest of shops.

Betty Riaz took Newbury Street by storm two years ago when she opened Stil, the postage stamp-size boutique where heady Scandinavian labels (Bruuns Bazaar, Rutzou, and Munthe plus Simonsen) sit alongside stateside designers (Chyby Ryby) and local talent (Daniela Corte).

But even with a brave new mix like that, there’s only so much you can do in a tiny spot.

Brace yourself for Stil’s about-to-open, big-sister location. The shop is more than 1,700 square feet — which means there’s plenty of room for the same rad designers as well as covetable new gems like By Malene Birger and Paul Smith. Not to mention additional Danish discoveries like Baum and Pferdgarten and By Groth.

Stil even has room for you to mellow out (in the lounge area) or charge up (at the cappuccino bar).

Because everyone, now and then, can use more personal space.
