Cold Comfort
28 Degrees

What’s cooler than cool? Ice cold.
Actually, it’s even colder than that. It’s 28 degrees, to be exact, which is the temperature at which a martini is best served.
But you’re so cool, you knew that.
If you didn’t, it’s okay. (We didn’t either.) But you should still check out 28 Degrees, the new South End spot that serves a mean menu of classic cocktails, including a frigid vodka martini (garnished with a cornichon instead of an olive), plus a bunch of fresh fruit drinks (no syrupy mixes or sugary powders go into the concoctions there — ever).
Executive chef Jeremy Sewall (ex-Great Bay) is running the kitchen, so you know the casually elegant American fare is divine.
Because sometimes what’s cooler than being cool is having that cold drink with a hot meal.
