The Boston- and Manhattan-based Steckler was blessed with a certain je ne sais quoi for household errands. Like selecting the perfect linens, napkins, and stationery. Assisting with event planning and interior decorating. And doing anything else, really, that calls for some originality and an eye for detail.

She calls it lifestyle management, and, goodness knows, we’ve all got things that need managing.
