Inner Beauty

The living room? From-the-pages-of-a-shelter-mag perfect. The boudoir? Color-coordinated but comfy and always ready for guests. Bathroom: same deal.

Oh, wait. That’s your best friend’s apartment. Yours has more of a hodgepodge thing going, thanks to the, shall we say, eclectic taste of your new roommate.

But actually, single living isn’t the answer; it’s Jace Interiors. Owner and former Boston Design Center pro Julieann Covino firmly believes that everyone can afford a tastefully designed living space.

For $65-$75 per hour, she’ll scope out your pad (be it tiny or two-story) and work with all the pieces you already own to design a beautiful, livable home that completely represents you.

Is the roomie’s traditional leather lounger clashing with your contemporary couch? She’ll locate a classic lamp to tie it all together. Or if you’re the cocktail-party queen who always finds guests involuntarily close-talking, she’ll clear out the room to create a crowd-friendly path.

She’ll even hang photos and move furniture.

Unlike, say, the roommate.
