You take pride in your natural beauty. (A little hard work goes a long way, right?) But when it comes to the great outdoors, you’d rather read A Walk in the Woods than actually take one.
Well, here’s a little something to ignite your affection for Mother Nature: Twigs and Heather. Crafted by North Shore natives (and twin sisters) Heather and Kerry Alice Collins, the line is made of pieces from the outdoors turned into sterling silver necklaces and charms.
Your task: Find a tree (preferably farther than your front yard). Pick up a fallen acorn, maple leaf, or tiny twig. Then send said treasure off to the twins, who will set it into metal for you to wear forever as a memento of your outing.
The duo also scavenges all over New England for materials to turn into baubles — like cuffs from silver-cast bark and bright necklaces from smooth pieces of sea glass. So no two designs are ever alike.
A fact that only enhances your beauty. Naturally.
