Pulp Friction

Grapefruit Pedicure

sweet feet!

This little piggy went to market. This little piggy went home. This little piggy had roast beef. This little piggy had none.

Those little guys never could agree on anything. Then again, if you were crammed into a pair of socks for that many winter months with four friends, you’d probably be bickering, too.

So before you put your toes into hibernation for the cold months, walk ’em to Lexington’s Indulgence Day Spa for a pick-me-up grapefruit pedicure.

Master nail technician Sam Rashphoumy settles you into an overstuffed massage chair with a mug of fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice. He then fills the voided citrus halves with an exfoliating scrub and, after a soak and trim, gently polishes your feet and calves with the fruit. That’s followed with a light massage and ever-lasting polish, resulting in a big hit of vitamin C.

Which should lead to something everyone can agree on: a “wee wee wee”-free winter.
