’Twas the night before holiday, and all through the town, not a creature was stirring (they were recovering from turkey chow-down).
But down on West Broadway, there arose such a clatter that we scrambled right up to see what was the matter.
It was Glenn Quirion and David Venter, opening their new spot, Sweet Tooth Boston — with treats you’ll fancy a lot.
Thank Quirion, the baker, for his alchemist skills. His oatmeal Craisin cookies are sure to bring thrills. And likewise the cheesecakes and blondies, double-decked. Those fresh-made Napoleans? (Your diet is wrecked!) His cupcakes come filled with lush berry creams. And the pooch cakes will even give Fido sweet dreams.
And you may hear yourself yell, as you drive out of sight, “Thanks for stuffing us silly. We’ll be back tomorrow night.”
