When Harriet Met Mickey

Harriet and Mickey

hey, mickey!

Mickey already had lots of associations. Minnie and Donald. Baseball and Marilyn. Being so fine and blowing your mind.

Add one more to the list — his connection with Harriet. As in Harriet and Mickey, Ink., the paper-goods company of talented Boston illustrator Annie LaVigne, whose line drawings, ink-and-paint pictures, and custom cards evoke Dr. Seuss circa Horton Hears a Who.

From an individual duck to a snowboarding human duo to a medieval caravan, the collection ranges in both subject matter and intricacy. And though LaVigne is clearly a professional, her work has a ripped-from-the-(really-good)-sketchbook quality. Like she made it just for you.

The problem? Each piece is so adorable it’s hard to choose one over another.

Just try to draw the line somewhere.
