Twilight Boutique Opens

First dates are thrilling.

The butterflies, wearing a new lipgloss. Maybe you’ll splurge on a pomegranate martini. After all, he’s got an uncanny likeness to Ryan Phillippe (at least according to those fuzzy online photos).

And, of course, the dress.

Credit goes to Alison Barnard, the North End diva behind In-jean-ius, and her newest endeavor, Twilight. When her casual clientele started to beg for nighttime gear, Barnard snapped up space a few doors down.

She blasted the wall with black-on-white damask, hung jet-black chandeliers, and topped it all with plum accents — making it as sleek as the nightspots her shoppers frequent. There are modern designs by Nicole Miller and Betsey Johnson, as well as the likes of Rachel Pally, Meghan Fabulous, and Corey Lynn Calter. Botkier bags, Solas light-up clutches, and jewelry by JoJo round out the mix.

So even if the date’s a bust, you’ll still be thrilled.
