PACK
A Picnic
What: Better yet, have New England Soup Factory do it for you. They’ll load your tote with mason jars of gazpacho (try the watermelon lychee), entree salads, and tasty homemade lime cooler cookies.
Why: Cop a squat on the Esplanade or grab one and head to Copley (see HEAR).
When: All summer long.

What: The neighboring Charles Street shops host a dual sale.
Why: It’s double trouble. Grab 20 percent off summer styles at both stores, even already marked-down pieces.

Why: Like you need an excuse.
