Mad Tea Party

Au Soleil Catering

They don’t call you Proper Polly for nothing. Ankles? Crossed. Thank-you notes? Sent. Last week’s little parking mishap in Cambridge? You totally left a note.

But lately your entertaining skills have been more Britney Spears (read: vodka and Cheetos) than gracious host.

There’s an easy way to recover your reputation: afternoon tea. Putting on an elegant affair is a cinch, thanks to newly launched Au Soleil Catering.

Chef Paul Callahan’s Fantasy Tea menu pulls out all the stops, bringing dainty nibbles like goat cheese-stuffed black figs, Niman Ranch ham canapes, apple madeleines, and black currant scones right to your home. And like sister restaurants L’Espalier and Sel de la Terre, Au Soleil does it all with a touch of French panache.

Of course, you’ll give credit where it’s due.

Then take a tasteful little curtsy for yourself.
