The last time you threw a dinner party, it was:
a) Delicate. You were using Grandma’s hand-me-down china.
b) Served on Target-ware (circa ’98).
c) A cinch. All of the dishes were disposable.
Exactly when did you drop your impeccable taste at the kitchen door? It’s time to update your dishware with one-of-a-kind Argentine ceramics made by artisans Monica Natal and Vera Felman.
The ceramist and interior designer, respectively, hand-make and kiln-fire each piece using unique wraps to create the stone-textured exterior. The softly curving insides are painted either fire-engine red, violet, or a sublime green, so you can mix and match for a bright new dinnertime palette.
The two even started a design school in Buenos Aires, where students learn the craft of ceramics. Which means instead of padding the wallets of a few big box execs, your funds are going to a good cause.
A fact your dinner guests are certain to eat up.
