Psst. Fashion biscuit.
Yes, you in the Doll jeans and Burnout tee. Think you know all the city’s shopping hot spots?
Think again, mod moll.
Senza troppo fanfare, North End boutique Casa di Stile opened its doors in early April. Since then, partners Leslie Carvalho and Allison Levangie have built up a cunning inventory of tops and blouses, featuring designers like LaRok, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent, and Madison Marcus. Their reasoning? Fad hags such as yourself tend to buy two tops to every one bottom. (Plus, the North End denim market is pretty nigh covered.)
Still not impressed? Then just try to resist the shop’s Right Coast decor. Pale fixtures, plasma TVs, and an all-glass window front invite you to come inside and play Palm Springs socialite for the day.
With Hanover Street fast becoming the North End’s answer to Newbury, this spot actually stands as the street’s still-not-quite-discovered gem.
And doesn’t that just add to its cachet?
