Sometimes you’re walking through life, minding your own business, when a tornado rips through, destroying everything in your path.
When that happens, you’ll either scream, cry, and beat your fists. Or you’ll pack your bags, move to Nashville, and start studying music.
At least that’s what Turya Nations did when she lost her vintage store to a cyclone. And lucky for us, because that’s where she met her husband Braxton, a music producer with whom she eventually started her fashion line, Guy Baxter. Now the two live in L.A. and have whipped up a rocker-inspired vintage look for the fall.
The flowy, silken Chelsea dress with puffed sleeves and pockets falls perfectly from its scoop neck, while the Zoe is its structural foil with sharper lines and a belted waist in Tencel linen. And the ultra-femme A-line Kate with its ruffled neckline is pure coquettish appeal.
Proving that life really can be written on the wind.
