Bunny Business

“The Magic Rabbit,” by Annette LeBlanc Cate

Every little thing she does is magic. (Including the time mini Houdini made the car keys disappear.)

So the whole family will appreciate The Magic Rabbit, a recently released black-and-white illustrated picture book by Annette LeBlanc Cate.

It’s the sweet story of Ray the magician who, with his best friend/assistant Bunny (who is, indeed, a rabbit), performs for the crowds in a place that looks an awful lot like Harvard Square.

One day, they get separated. But with luck, Bunny finds his way home.

Proof that magic is found right in your own backyard.

Along with the car keys, it turns out.
