Dear Diary,

I’ve been totally transformed! It’s a new me!

It seems like just yesterday I was a mere feed sack, holding grain in my cotton body. I’ve always been sort of self-conscious, with the faded letters of “Purina All Mash” all over my belly. (At least I don’t have a big cow, like Suzy the Sack does. Hee.)

Anyway, so I was just lying around when Jill Goldberg, designer doyenne of Hudson (you know, that hip housewares store in South End) picks me up and makes me over into a charming toss pillow. This could be my big break!

After deciding exactly what part to cut (don’t worry, she was gentle), she had me reworked into a pillowcase. Now I’m stuffed and puffed with down feathers and a signature Hudson red ribbon sticking out my side. And to think, I was born to hold mash.
