No Trifling Matter

ChocoLee Chocolates Opens

chocoleelicious!

For true sweet tooths, a single perfect chocolate truffle (or twelve) is the ultimate experience.

Well, thank the chocolate gods, because pastry chef Lee Napoli, who has worked or consulted at Icarus, Maison Robert, Grill 23, Metro, and Bricco, opens her new South End shop, ChocoLee Chocolates, this Friday.

It’s where you’ll find her combination of melted chocolate, butter, sugar, and magic filling rolled into bite-size balls.

Try signature hand-dipped truffles — espresso, hazelnut, chocolate mint, Grand Marnier, or poblano chile — for a little love at first bite. Or hold off for Valentine’s treats like chocolate-spiced hearts, milk-chocolate cupid lollipops, and made-to-order chocolate beignets.

Stop in for one and you may walk out with a dozen.

ChocoLee Chocolates, 83 Pembroke Street, South End (617-236-0606).
