Scarf It Down
Missbruno Scarves

Winter is not the time to test your improvisational skills. No matter how colorful and natty your old sweatpants are, they do not work as head- and neckwear.
Leave the fashion spontaneity to Missbruno, a collective of two Brooklyn sisters who create scarves out of fabrics like raw Indian cotton, canvas, and linen and skins like leather, snake, and suede.
Our favorites include the sophisticated hand-fringed Jacmelian made from English wool tweed, the dainty Marie Genevieve crafted from cotton and one-of-a-kind vintage lace, and the bold Highlife with a smart buttoned front.
Each made-to-order piece (specifically for men, women, or both) can take up to two weeks to ship. Though the compliments will continue for a lifetime.
And that’s something you can plan around.
