Bin Ends Wine Shop Opens

wine not?

Tough times call for tight measures.

But even a depleted wallet won’t pry that nightly glass of grĂ¼ner out of your hands. (As if you’d watch GG with anything else.)

Sure, the economy’s bust, but all is not lost: There’s a surplus of quality vino out there, and you can access it thanks to Bin Ends, the newly opened bargain wine shop in Braintree.

Owners John Hafferty and Craig Drollett collect actual bin ends — small batches of top wine that haven’t been sold on the market — by scouring for surplus and discontinued bottles that they then majorly discount. Think Louis Latour, cheap. Plus, starting next Friday, you’ll be able to order your favorite varietal online, and if you’re within 25 miles of the store, they’ll deliver a case or more free of charge.

We recommend taking that extra buck and investing it back into the economy.

By ordering an extra bottle.

Bin Ends, 236 Wood Road, Braintree (781-583-1511 or binendswine.com).
