The new cupcake cafe, which just opened in Back Bay, offers flavors like lemon topped with candied lemon ties, organic karat (that’s carrot) garnished with edible gold, and cappuccino crowned with cinnamon.

Running late? Grab a prefilled Sweet Sixteen box and a handful of birthday candles from the counter. Or take advantage of the delivery service: Orders for custom concoctions are taken a few days in advance, while signature flavors are delivered day of.

Which means, for once, you can give your friend a little personalized attention.

After you’ve eaten your own, of course.
