Front Home Store Opens

Some might tell you that shopping for a gift that’s both practical and inspiring is a cinch.

Stupid optimists.

Unless it’s those quirky Brits, Martin and Michele Yeeles. The design duo just opened Front, a boutique in Fort Point selling yoga bags and mats by Plank; laptop sleeves cut from thick, German felt; and goods made by local artists.

In addition, they stock their own line, Bob’s Your Uncle, which is produced as sustainably as possible. The range includes bold melamine plates sporting roadside-eatery kitsch and cheeky wine bottle gift bags emblazoned with snobbisms like “Plummy with Strong Thrusting Overtones.”

A playful, smart shop, it’s got everything you’re looking for.
