It’s your old dad here. Your mother told me you needed some hints for Father’s Day (not my idea, I swear). So here goes.

We can prevent Mom from taking nips out of my bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label if you get it engraved for me (Federal Wine & Spirits, 29 State Street, Downtown; 617-367-8605). Pack me off in style on our next vacation: The guys at Luggage Forward will ship my golf clubs from the front door to my hotel room. And I could use a bespoke Ted Baker suit while you’re at it (Therapy, 152 Brookline Avenue, Fenway; 617-266-6501).
